About the founder

Founded under the name of Lala Lajpat Rai, the great Indian Punjabi politician and author known for his famous participation in the independence fight, the college Lala Lajpat Rai Institute of Engineering & Technology is situated in the district of Moga, Punjab. He was not only a national leader but also a fighter who fought till his last breath for the improvement of education in nation. Promotion of unity and reforming society are the two major aspects that Lala ji tirelessly kept to improve. He carried a glorious personality and a magnificent life style all through his life. This living style of Lala ji became an inspiration for the entire nation. He not only inspired the nation but also inspired Indians living outside India. People from all across the globe praise the holy deed of Lala Lajpat Ji. He was indeed a great patriot and everyone should salute his great contribution in the field of education. His thoughts, life and actions impose us to take a pledge and seek motivation from all he has done for the improvement of the country in the field of education.
